Hydrogen Driven

Hydrogen Driven in the future?

Vehicles with fuel cells battery driven cars as well as combustion vehicles will exist in parallel in the future but only in different segments. In the car sector there will be more battery cars with larger vehicles probably the fuel cell will prevail.

The vehicles are fueled with liquid hydrogen instead of gasoline. In a chemical reaction the hydrogen in the fuel cell is converted into electrical energy which then drives the vehicle. Unlike pure electric vehicles the infrastructure for hydrogen is an unresolved issue. The advantage of fuel cell vehicles is their larger range.

For the fuel cell a totally new infrastructure and cooperation with utilities and governments is needed and the change to it takes sometime.

It needs to project this over a realistic time-frame lets say 2 decades into the future.

Until then the technology will be widely available not only in vehicles which only serve a niche.
